Baptism is a wonderful way to express your faith in Christ. It is a physical act that symbolizes your identity with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The submersion in the water represents that you have died to your old life and desires. As you are raised up out of the water, it represents your new life in Christ. We were created by God to make a difference. We experience fulfillment by living out our purpose as part of a team. God has a place for you where your abilities and passions can touch the lives of others. Our Frontline Team is composed of the many volunteers who serve on the frontlines of ministry at FLC. They don’t just come to church—they are the church. They clean the building, help you park, greet you at the door, usher you to your seats, and minister to your children. They cover everything from mid-week preparation through the end of service on Sunday. Because they make such a tremendous difference at FLC, we call them “Difference Makers.” If you want to make a difference, just sign up for Growth Track, and we will get you on the right team!
